Top 10 WOMEN Who MARRIED INFAMOUS KILLERS
In this video we are going to count down 10 shocking accounts of women marrying serial killers and mass murders. In some cases, they were married during their spouses killing spree without having a clue of their sadistic alter ego, in others, the woman married them while incarcerated, well knowing of their twisted day jobs.
Charles Manson was the leader of a cultist group that became known as the “Manson family” in the late 1960’s. In 1971, Manson was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of seven separate individuals which included actress Sharon Tate and her unborn child. Throughout his life, Manson has come up with several ‘philosophies’ about the world we live in and ways in which humanity is at risk of an apocalyptic race war, as described in his own version of the Beatles song, “Helter Skelter.” Manson truly is a man of many hats who went from being a musician to cultist, and even a family man. Yes, that’s right, he has been married twice, both before his imprisonment for the Manson Family killings, but, according to dailymail and other sources, he has recently married Aftron Burton sometime in December of 2014.
Richard “The Iceman” Kuklinski was a notorious mob contract killer convicted of three murders. He acquired the nickname “The Iceman” from his method of freezing a victim to help mask the time of death. Kuklinski lived with his wife, Barbra Pedrici and children in a New Jersey suburb. The 300 pound or 136 kilogram monster of a man did much of the dirty work for the DeCavalcante crime family. In a number of interviews conducted after his arrest, Kuklinski claimed to have murdered somewhere between 100-250 men. Kuklinski died on March 5th, 2006 at age 70 while serving life imprisonment. Barbara is still alive today, and still claims that, although suspicious, she did not know of “The Iceman’s” alter ego.
Ted Bundy is another moderately well-known serial killer and rapist on this list. He would attract victims to himself through his handsome appearance and articulate ways of flattering others in order to gain their trust. He confessed to killing thirty women across seven states during the 1970’s and 1980’s. By taking advantage of the law, as Ted Bundy was known for doing, he legally wedded Carole during his trial in 1980. In 1982, she gave birth to a daughter and named Bundy as the father. Although conjugal visits were not permitted at the time, it wasn’t uncommon for inmates to pool money together and bribe guards for some time with female visitors. Ted Bundy was later put to death by mean of electrocution on January 24th, 1989.
Carole Hoff and Sue Terry
Known as the “Killer Clown”, John Wayne Gacy is one of the most iconic American serial killers. From 1972 to 1978, he raped and killed thirty three teenage boys and young men. All of these murders were committed inside of his Norwood Park Township home, where most of victims were buried in the basement, in which his wife and two children also lived. Gacy and his wife Carole Hoff were married for five years before a divorce in 1976. All this time she was unaware what was going on just under her nose, even while living with him after the divorce. The women informed investigators that on several occasions she found men’s wallets and ID cards disposed of around the property, which ultimately led to Gacy’s arrest and conviction. In 1988, he became engaged to a mother of eight, but the relationship only lasted a year when the women, Sue Terry, became convinced of his guilt.
Alcira and Esperanza
Daniel Camargo Barbosa was and still is recognized as one of the most psychotic serial killers in the world. This Colombian man is believed to have killed nearly one hundred and fifty young girls, almost all of which were virgins. The exact timeframe for his murder spree is spotty at best because of just how large the body count is capable of being. While in a de facto union with a woman named Alcira, of which he had two children with, Barbosa fell in love with another woman named Esperanza, but the problem here was that she had already had sexual intercourse. The two made a mutual agreement that she would lure young ladies to the apartment under false pretenses and drug them with sleeping pills while Barbosa raped them. He served eight years in prison after the fifth victim reported the act. After being released, he made sure to kill each one of his victims after raping them, at the pace he was going the victims added up fast. These murders took place during the 1970’s and up through the 80’s. Surely a man like this would be put away for life, correct? Wrong, he was given sixteen years in prison, but was killed while incarcerated in 1994 by a cousin of one of his victims.
Fred West was an English serial killer who is believed to have tortured, raped and finally killed thirteen young women in a twenty year time period, between 1967 and 1987. In 1962, twenty one year old West became re-acquainted with his former girlfriend, Catherine Costello, who happened to be a prostitute, and at the time was pregnant by another man. Several months later in 1963, she gave birth to Charmaine Carol. Six years into their marriage, he met his soon to be next wife, Rosemary Letts on her fifteenth birthday. When she turned sixteen, Letts moved in with him. In 1971, Rosemary killed Charmaine, Fred’s stepdaughter from his first marriage. When Catherine Costello returned to take her stepdaughter back to Scotland with her, she too was killed. Fred West and Rosemary Letts would become one of the most twisted husband and wife serial killers in history. They went on to kill many more before finally being apprehended in 1994. West committed suicide the following year; Letts on the other hand is carrying out a life sentence.
Angelo Buono Jr. was the ringleader of a duo infamously known as the “Hillside Stranglers”. He described himself as the “Italian Stallion,” and was convicted in 1983 of nine counts of First-Degree Murder. Victims ranged in background, some prostitutes, and others just people at the right place at the wrong time. Methods of murder varied, but it was evident that strangulation was preferred. On November 20th, 1977 hikers found the body of twenty year old Kristina Weckler. An autopsy later revealed that Windex had been injected into her bloodstream and that she was brutally tortured. Even though all of this information was on public record, Christine Kizuka wasn’t at all apprehensive, and married Buono in 1986. Odd as it may sound, she was a mother raising three children of her own, and met Buono while visiting her husband at the time at Folsom State Prison. Buono died on September 21th, 2002 of a heart attack, the two never had any children together.
Kristin Joan Svege
Charles Watson, also known as “Tex”, was a prominent member of the Manson family. He is responsible for leading other cultists into Sharon Tate’s house in the 1969 murders of her and the child in her whom, along with four others. Tex also participated in the murders of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca the following day. The man was found guilty of murder in 1971 and has been incarcerated ever since. Four years after his incarceration, he became a “born again Christian”, and soon thereafter released an autobiography titled ‘Will you Die For Me?’ One year after its 1978 release, he married Kristin Svege, and ironically enough, through conjugal visits, the two had four children together. After an astounding 24 years of marriage she divorced him for another man, mostly due to visits for life prisoners being stopped in 1996.
Phillip Jablonski was a serial killer convicted of raping and murdering five women between 1978 and 1991. He met his first wife, Alice McGowan in high school, but only became sexually abusive after returning from military duty. As surprising as it may be, this relationship, along with the next, ended with both women leaving him because of his obvious illness. In 1997, Phillip Jablonski met a woman named Linda Kimball and the two hit it off and began to go out together. After leaving him, mind you this was the third women to leave him; he killed her when she returned to their apartment to gather some of her things. He served twelve years in prison and was released in 1990, despite all the signs, Carol Spadoni became the killer’s bride in 1982 and just nine years later, she and her mother became victims and were murdered by Jablonski less than a year after his release in 1991.
Rosalie Martinez was happily married to a lawyer in the Tampa, Florida area and had four children with that man. Until 1996, Martinez was a mitigation specialist, meaning that she brought documentation about a defendant in a court case to the defense, often murder trials. This all changed the day she met Oscar Ray Bolin, a man better known as “Bolin the Butcher.” He was convicted of the 1986 sexual assaults and murders of three young women between the ages of seventeen and twenty six. She felt a connection with the alleged killer and ended up leaving her family to marry him in 1995, the same year they met. As strange as it may sound, Martinez stood by her lover through eight consecutive murder trials and the death sentence. According to sources, she can still be found in the legal field working for a firm that helps the defense overturn the verdict of capital punishment cases.
